Lois Cahn, born April 16, 1934 to Max Cahn (1898-1985) and Ruth S. Cahn (Borinstein) (1910-1973), grew up in ______________, one of two children. She and her brother, Martin “Buddy” Cahn, got along very well.
Lois met her future husband, Howard Spahn, at _________________ and together they had four children, Cindy, Barrett J., Kenneth Evan and Cheryl. Lois was a school teacher while Howard worked in the scrap metal industry. They lived in Amberley Village on Elbrook Avenue, a suburb of Cincinnati with a significant Jewish population.
Lois and Howard enjoyed travel. Unfortunately, Howard passed away after diving in Australia. Lois continued to live in the family home for many years before moving to The Kenwood, a retirement community on the outskirts of Cincinnati where she enjoys the company of her peers as well as her daughter Cheryl, who has lived with her for many years now.
