Abraham Herbert Kanter (“Herb”)(born August 13, 1904 and died ____________) and Lillian Kanter (nee Raab) (born April 28, 1920 and died April 22, 2010) were married in 1940, when to the dismay of their families, they eloped. They had three daughters-Barbara (born _____ 1941), Roseann (born __________) and Karen (born _____ 1950). Herb owned Lincoln Memorial Hospital, an osteopathic hospital in Columbus, Ohio and enjoyed the outdoors. He hunted and even had several farms, eventually accumulating 1000 acres of farmland. Roseann went with him every week to visit and help out.
Lillian’s mother, Dora Alpert Raab, was the sister of Bella Alpert, Edith Alpert Gold, Meyer Alpert, Louis Alpert, Charles Alpert and Robert Alpert.
Lillian was the first cousin of Lora Gold Reed, Maxine Teplitz, Ellie ________ (who died _______________ leaving a husband and two children, ________________ and ________________) and Sandy __________.
Lillian’s Mother, Dora Alpert Raab, was married to Harry Raab.
Lillian and Herb’s daughter Barbara is married to David Brant. They have 3 children, namely Stacey Brandt Royer (John), Jill Brandt Abolt (Craig) and Adam (Eleanor) Brandt. Stacey and John have three children, Hannah, Libby and Sari Royer. Jill and Craig Abolt have two children, Josh and Alex Abolt.
Lillian and Herb’s daughter Roseanne is married to Mark Rosen. They had two children, Sara Jane (Brian) and Halley Rosen Moses (Rob). Sara and Brian had two children, Andy and Mia Harris. Halley has two children, _______________ and ________________.
Karen has two daughters-Jody Robins Rosenzweig and Jamie Robins Finch
Jamie is married to Brian E. Finch, a cybersecurity attorney based in Washington D.C., and they live in Charleston, South Carolina where they have three children – Emma, Caroline and Jane. Emma goes to school at Tulane where she is majoring in psychology and Caroline goes to school at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina.
Jody is married to Sid Rosensweig (an attorney specializing in appellate intellectual property litigation, based in Washington, D.C.). They have two sons, Ari and Leo. They live in Maryland.
